Over 20 years of experience, specializing in interventional office procedures for the management of spinal and orthopaedic pain, open and minimally invasive surgical procedures for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar issues, general orthopaedic trauma, and medicolegal care (independent evaluations, record reviews, expert testimony, etc.)

I am a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spinal surgeon, and have been in full time clinical practice since 2001. I attended the University of Virginia for undergraduate studies and medical school, and trained at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for orthopaedic surgery residency. Subsequent to residency, I completed a Neuro-Orthopaedic Spinal Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia. My clinical practice consists of nonsurgical and surgical management of all spinal disorders and injuries, including work-related injuries, automobile accidents, degenerative conditions, sports injuries, etc. I am in the clinic 3 days a week, and the operating room two days a week. I perform a vast array of interventional spine procedures in office, for the management of spinal and orthopaedic pain. In addition, I take general orthopaedic call at my hospital several days monthly, and continue to manage general orthopaedic trauma / injuries. I am a fellowship-trained spine surgeon. I graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine, followed by aresidency in orthopedic surgery, also at UCLA. I completed a fellowship at The Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical College. I have 33 years experience in active full-time clinical practice, limited to the evaluation and management of surgical spine pathology. I am experienced in providing IME services, chart reviews, and expert witness cases.. I provide objective, thorough and unbiased evaluations of the cases provided for my review.
