I am a fellowship-trained orthopaedic spinal surgeon, and have been in full time clinical practice since 2001. I attended the University of Virginia for undergraduate studies and medical school, and trained at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for orthopaedic surgery residency. Subsequent to residency, I completed a Neuro-Orthopaedic Spinal Fellowship in Adelaide, Australia. My clinical practice consists of nonsurgical and surgical management of all spinal disorders and injuries, including work-related injuries, automobile accidents, degenerative conditions, sports injuries, etc. I am in the clinic 3 days a week, and the operating room two days a week. I perform a vast array of interventional spine procedures in office, for the management of spinal and orthopaedic pain. In addition, I take general orthopaedic call at my hospital several days monthly, and continue to manage general orthopaedic trauma / injuries. I have extensive experience in performing medicolegal services, including medical record reviews, independent medical examinations, deposition / courtroom testimony, etc. I strive to always provide thorough, timely, objective, and unbiased evaluations, in all cases. I am a certified independent medical examiner, having received training and certification from the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME).
