I was in the US Army as a psychiatrist for 8 years, and performed over 100 medical evaluation board examinations, which are essentially IMEs by a different name. Additionally, I performed dozens of TDRL evaluations, which are another form of VA forensic/disability evaluations.

I am a board certified Psychiatrist and completed my residency training at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh. I have had extensive experience diagnosing and treating a variety of psychiatric disorders including trauma related disorders, mood/anxiety disorders, bipolar and psychotic spectrum disorders, personality disorders and dual diagnosis disorders. In addition to experience in the outpatient setting, I have also worked in consultation and liaison departments, partial and intensive outpatient programs, emergency psychiatry settings, and with community treatment teams. Additional areas of expertise include my ability to perform utilization management review and approach cases and claimants with a global lens as I have completed psychoanalytic training.
