Dr. Bavishi completed undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at Northwestern and medical school at the Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Northwestern University as well, and then completed an advanced echocardiography fellowship at Columbia University as well as a Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy/Sports Cardiology Fellowship at Atlantic Health Medical Center. Dr. Bavishi is board certified in general cardiology, cardiac CT, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, with board certification in cardiac MRI pending. Dr. Bavishi is proficient in all forms of interest and expertise in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac care of athletes, and prevention. He has been fortunate to train under several of the pre-eminent national leaders in these disciplines. He has authored over 25 peer reviewed articles demonstrating his expertise in these areas.
