Allen C. Bowling, MD, PhD, is Director of the NeuroHealth Institute and is Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Bowling’s areas of expertise include general neurology, back pain, neck pain, neuropathic pain, headache, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spasticity, multiple sclerosis (MS), and pharmacology. He also has expertise in cannabis (marijuana), dietary supplements, herbal medicine, chiropractic, and alternative medicine. He has more than 100 lay and professional publications, including five books, and has been a principal investigator in more than 20 clinical trials. Dr. Bowling is a Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Yale, where he also obtained his MD and a PhD in pharmacology.
