He completed his Pain Medicine Fellowship at Harvard Medical School at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. He is Board Certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He is also a Board Certified Independent Medical Examiner by the American Board of Medical Examiners. He served as Chief Resident in Final Year of Anesthesiology Residency at LSU School of Medicine. He has authored 13 research articles on PubMed and 6 Book Chapters. He has presented 41 Abstracts at National Conferences. He was a LSU Track & Field and Cross Country Letterman. He was LSU's Rhode Scholar Nominee in his senior year. He attained the Rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
