Dr. James P. Little, MD, MBA, CIME, is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician with decades of experience in medico-legal evaluations, rehabilitation medicine, and electrodiagnostic testing. Dr. Little graduated from Western Michigan University with honors in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in English. He completed medical school at Wayne State University in 1977, and he earned his MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1998. Dr. Little is an Army veteran with several years duty as a Flight Surgeon followed by specialty training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Little has served as the Medical Director of rehabilitation hospitals in Tennessee and Kentucky for over 30 years while also maintaining an outpatient practice in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Little has now transitioned to full-time outpatient practice and consulting services in the Chattanooga area. His practice remains focused on providing: • Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) • Record reviews and medico-legal consulting • Expert Witness Services • EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies (EMG/NCS) • Impairment and disability evaluations Dr. Little’s extensive clinical and leadership experience includes serving as Medical Director of multiple rehabilitation hospitals and receiving the #1 Clinical Ranking and Medical Director Excellence Award from HealthSouth Hospitals. He also served as the founding Medical Director of Siskin Hospital in Chattanooga. Dr. Little led new physicians as the University of Tennessee’s founding Chair and Residency Training Program Director. He has maintained ongoing board recertification by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, certification by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and current certification as a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME).
