Dr. Cole is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon with specialized training and a keen interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques and motion preservation (non-fusion) surgeries for the adult degenerative spine. Following his graduation from Columbia University with a degree in computer science, Dr. Cole obtained his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He further advanced his expertise by completing an adult and pediatric spine fellowship at Temple University Hospital and Shriners Hospital, respectively. Dr. Cole also pursued his passion for engineering and co-founded C2 Medical Robotics, a startup focused on developing disposable endoscopic robotic end-effectors. With over three decades of clinical experience and a record of performing 10,000 spinal procedures, Dr. Cole is licensed in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. His certifications include the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) since 1998 and membership in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). Dr. Cole possesses exceptional skills in producing meticulous IMEs, narrative reports, and effectively communicating complex concepts during depositions and testimonies.
