Dr. Francis is a Fellow of the American College of Professional Neuropsychology. He has been board-certified by the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN). Dr. Francis is a professional member of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He is a member of Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology) and Division 40 (Neuropsychology) of the American Psychological Association. He also maintains membership in the California Psychological Association, the Northern California Neuropsychology Forum, and the Society for Personality Assessment. Dr. Francis has spent more than 20 years assessing and treating traumatic brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders, post-traumatic stress, and chronic pain. He was appointed by the State of California's Department of Industrial Relations Division of Workers Compensation as a Qualified Medical Evaluator in 2007. Since then, he has performed over 500 medical-legal evaluations in the workers' compensation arena. For the past six years, Dr. Francis has performed approximately 60 independent medical examinations being retained by both plaintiff and the defense.
