Dr. Wood is a consulting neuropsychologist for both plaintiffs and defense who has independently practiced in Texas since 2009, although she has worked in psychological and neuropsychological assessment since 2001. Her clinical training was primarily in the public hospital system in Fort Worth, but she experienced a wide variety of training settings, including neurocognitive rehabilitation and rural outreach. Her professional career includes several faculty and director positions in the areas of psychology and neuropsychology. Dr. Wood's services include consultation, assessment, and testimony across a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological issues. Dr. Wood’s professional affiliations include the National Alliance of Professional Providers of Psychology, where she served on the executive board and as associate editor of The Clinical Practitioner for many years. She is also a member of Aerospace Medical Association, Texas Psychological Association, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Wood's practice, Assess Texas PLLC, is located in Cleburne, Texas (near Fort Worth), but she regularly travels to evaluate people for whom travel is difficult.
